My original plan for my birthday dinner was to just find a cool restaurant here in NY and do a small dinner with friends…...& that plan obviously escalated I came across @thenomosoho penthouse through a friend and was literally blown away when I went to see it. You can book out the whole space for a group, they cater the food, provide a full bar and the sunset views are just incredible. It was an absolute dream!!
Then with about two weeks to go, I found Sarah from Clover & Ivy Events and Natalie from Fika florals who genuinely couldn't have been more amazing if they tried. I sent them an inspiration picture and when I walked into the space that evening after they had everything set up... I was just speechless. From the table settings to the balloons to the tiniest of details - everything was absolute perfection. They made my night so special, and I honestly couldn't recommend them enough if you're ever planning an event. Love love supporting businesses like this.

Sarah and the Clover and Ivy team made our magical Irish wedding dreams come to life! We could not be happier to have chosen Sarah and her team to plan our destination wedding in Ireland. My fiancé and I had very hectic schedules and the Clover and Ivy team made communications between the U.S. and Ireland so easy and convenient. They did an excellent job providing us with many vendors and options and made the planning process transparent so that we could be as involved as we wanted throughout each phase of planning. On arrival in Ireland, the Clover and Ivy team not only planned for our days to be as productive as possible (hair trials, venue meetings, taste testing’s, etc.) but found time to really show us the things they loved about the areas we visited. They went above and beyond and planned a 5-day trip to the West Coast of Ireland for our immediate families. It was a perfect time to decompress and truly experience Ireland with our families before the big day. They planned so many fun activities including baking classes, Cliffs of Moher photoshoot, private Galway tour with bar crawl, and many more experiences in between. Our families look back and still talk about how incredible that time was. Their team truly made not only our wedding day but the whole planning experience special rather than stressful or hectic. I still dream of the stunning flowers and décor they organized for us. To say it was magical is an understatement. From the months leading up to the wedding through the wedding day itself they were the greatest team we could have asked for. I just wish we could go back and do it all again. We could not recommend them enough! Thank you so much Sarah and Clover and Ivy!!

Geer Mountain Farm - September 2021
My husband Pete and I had a truly magical wedding weekend at Geer Mountain Farm. We wanted a venue that offered something different and this property checked off all the boxes and more then we could have imagined. We had a beautiful September wedding outside with 30 guests. Our ceremony was held outside in front of the lake with our reception under a beautifully lit tent. The venue offers 3 houses for guests and private bride and groom accommodations making it perfect for a weekend affair. We were able to do a rehearsal dinner poolside the evening before and our guests were able to enjoy fishing, kayaking and soaking in the hot tub throughout the weekend. It was a wonderful hidden gem destination in the beautiful, quaint town of South Kent, CT. Clover & Ivy Events helped us all along the way to make our visions come to life. We were able to have a harpist and DJ on site, delicious catering, and even late night donuts after the ceremony in the hot tub. We were lucky enough to have our videographer and photographer document every moment including canoeing during cocktail hour. Every one of our guests later told us our wedding at Geer Mountain Farm was by far the best and most fun wedding they had attended. Hands down, we had the wedding of our dreams and it was all thanks to Clover and Ivy Events. Were still on cloud nine and it’s the best feeling in the world! My now husband and I began planning a wedding overseas in Ireland and it was by sheer fate that we were connected with Sarah. We couldn’t be more grateful or happy that we were introduced because she and her team seamlessly made our fairy tale come true.
They're not only amazing event planners, they’re miracle workers. It only took a few short months to put together the wedding weekend of the century…They organized an entire weekend for 70 crazy New Jersey natives in Ireland… need I say more? A day trip to Galway, a welcome dinner, all of the tricky lodging and transportation as well as food, music and event coordination and payments… absolutely nothing is impossible for them. In fact, we had the largest organized group to have a ceremony on The Cliffs of Moher to this date and they certainly earned their bragging rights because that is not an easy task.
The Big Day finally came and it was simply magical- everything was flawless. Having The Dream Team be on site for the wedding was by far the best decision we made. The entire day was organized, ahead of schedule and not one single detail was overlooked. Anything of question was handled straight away by them without any issue at all. We placed full trust in them and let the night take us away!
The professionalism, dedication and skill these women have is truly untouchable. They are so down to earth and have the biggest hearts of anyone we know, always going above and beyond is their specialty. We really couldn’t be more impressed with their enthusiasm, patience and passion for what they do. Not only did the dynamic duo put it all together, they helped me keep it together. Always being more than supportive, helpful and keeping things right on track to make sure everyone was having the best time of their lives.

NYC Engagement Party - September 2019
We used Clover and Ivy for our engagement party in Manhattan last September. We were lucky enough to be able to hire out our apartment buildings rooftop which made venue sourcing easy, however, Sarah made sure she came and did a thorough site visit so she knew what the set up would be on the day and what she needed to outsource, cocktail tables, glassware and tableware from local suppliers on the UES. We discussed the color scheme, flowers, food/drink options as well as some decorations and signs for the entrance and around the rooftop. Sarah was very thorough in her details and sent through examples of what we discussed prior to the set up on the day. The thoughtfulness of every detail that went into our event was evident and our guests thoroughly enjoyed the day. We totally lucked out on the weather. The day of, Sarah and Anna arrived early to set up, putting all the food and decorations on display along with setting up an amazing bar tended by the wonderful Alan who's cocktails were a huge hit with our guests. Thank you guys so much for our amazing special day, my fiancé and I and all our guests had such a lovely day!

Geer Mountain Farm-June 2019
We had the wedding of our dreams, thanks to Sarah and her team! I knew I wanted a backyard feel to my big day but with a touch of rustic classy feel to it.
From day one Clover & Ivy Events were able to envision exactly what I wanted and help us execute it! It was the most convenient planning I could have imagined. We were able to utilize Sarah’s family restaurant Molly Darcy’s for our catering and created a custom meal plan to our specifications. The food was delicious and affordably priced. Sarah helped us line up our other vendors too including the florist, bakery, DJ and tent rentals. It was a godsend because we were in the process of moving while starting our planning and she really took the reins for us until we could be more involved but not miss locking them in! When planning you may think you have all the details figured out but Sarah really helped us nail down the little details that one may not even think of right down to a swing for photos and a deck for us to stand on during the ceremony. During our poolside rehearsal and the big her team worked tirelessly to make sure everything went smoothly and stress free! Her expertise was truly invaluable.
We rented the houses for us and our bridal party to stay in for the weekend so we could enjoy the gorgeous and serene property. Everything was spotless and inviting for our guests and ourselves. Anything we wanted they were accommodating and found a way to make it possible.
We cannot thank Clover & Ivy Events enough for making our wedding weekend one to remember and one that our guests are still talking about. We highly recommend Sarah as your wedding planner and Geer Mountain Farm as a wedding venue. She helped us make our dream wedding a reality. We couldn’t have been happier.
