Irish Fairytale Castle Wedding

Our March couple, Hannah & Grayson, dreamed of an Irish castle wedding that would take them and their guests from Texas back in time at an enchanting medieval style castle.

The setting was Kinnitty Castle, a romantic 13th century castle that sits among 650 acres of parklands and woodlands in Co. Offaly, Ireland. The couple themselves have a love affair with Irish landscapes, while most are drawn to our dramatic coastlines, Hannah and Grayson love the luscious emerald mountains and rich enchanted forestry. Our Bride, had her heart set on a forest ceremony which we were still able to incorporate into their dream wedding day despite the unpredictable weather which brought us inside for a magnificently styled castle ceremony overlooking the beautiful, landscaped gardens and woodlands.

Kinnitty’s O’Carroll Banquet Hall had the perfect layout for a magical banquet style dinner. The floral brief was ‘wild flowers with jewel tones’, bringing the forest vibes inside, the wilder, the better! Hannah sent us pics inspired by @disney ‘s Brave I just knew @wildfeathereventstyling was the ideal fit for this whimsical wish. We worked together for months ensuring every detail was flawless for the couple. Each guest had their own handcrafted place card and menu designed by Calligrapher @eleanorcurtinart.

Guests on the day also enjoyed the many offerings Clover & Ivy put in place including entertainment from @novastringquartet & Celtic Rhythm Irish Dancers. Our Irish Coffee bar went down a treat with the splendid Kinnitty Castle Irish Whiskey. Their beautiful 3-tiered wedding cake was provided by @kellyloucakes.
